Greetings and salutations, fellow dreamers! my hope is that you enjoyed the rough draft version.2 of my first chapter.

Next I am working on how to introduce the other 3 main characters. I’ve starting on chapter 2, Tortie, but I think I might rework it a bit. Try to do more showing then telling.

Chapter 3 will be about Greenfeet and his struggles although he is the one I have the least contention to. It’s going to be interesting trying to get into his head.

Chapter 4 will be about Trivia and she might be the easiest for me to connect to. I already have her personality and motivations in my head. I am hoping that I can work in a lot more humor with her in the cast.

Chapter 4 will also mark the shift for the heroes. In order to get the team together, I thought I might have each one fail in some way and get kicked out of their current teams or be placed on suspension or something and that is how they will come together.

If you are wondering about the premise I decided to go with for the book after all of that is what if 4 superheroes with the worst powers imaginable turned out to be the only people that could save the world. In someways this is a topic that is not heavily explored in traditional literature. Comic books have of course explored the idea for a century at least but, not many people use the idea for a traditional book series.

I have several different stories in my head and if the only place they end up is here, then I will have accomplished my goal of sharing my stories. Honestly, I credit reading authors of my generation to my decision to try my own hand at creating stories.. I never expect them to read this but my thanks mostly goes to, Drew Hayes, Mur Lafferty, and Matt Dinniman. Thanks a lot guys!
